The Institutional Guided Help Desk, an internal tool developed for MD Anderson, was conceived to streamline the search for internal documentation across various departments. Our primary objective was to enhance user efficiency and navigation, ultimately delivering a smoother and more intuitive user experience.

In close collaboration with business owners and stakeholders, I conducted extensive design thinking sessions, delving deep into the client's requirements and preferences. Through this collaborative process, I worked alongside product managers to develop comprehensive product specifications that aligned perfectly with the client's vision and objectives.

With a strong emphasis on usability, I embarked on the design phase, ensuring that every aspect of the product was easy to use and comprehend. Beginning with wireframes, I meticulously crafted the interaction flow and user interface, aiming to create a cohesive and user-friendly design that would resonate with the target audience. Throughout the design journey, I remained committed to consistency with MD Anderson's brand guidelines, meticulously incorporating visual elements that were both on-brand and engaging.

The iterative design process played a crucial role in fine-tuning the product. I continuously sought feedback from stakeholders, users, and team members, incorporating valuable insights to enhance the product's usability and overall experience.

The result of our concerted efforts was a highly successful product that was quickly embraced by users. With its intuitive design and efficient functionality, the Institutional Guided Help Desk significantly facilitated the process of finding essential internal documentation. Its swift adoption and effectiveness in meeting user needs stand as a testament to the success of our design approach, underscoring the value of user-centric design in driving impactful solutions.
